Stefan Berg is an emerging artist based in Toronto. He received both Toronto and Ontario Visual Artist Grants for 2010. Berg has exhibited in solo exhibitions at The Drabinsky Gallery and The O’Connor Gallery in Toronto. His numerous group exhibitions include “The Art of The Wordless Graphic Novel” at The AVA Gallery, N.H. USA and “Canadian Landscape” at The Agnes Jamieson Museum in Minden, Ontario. In 2007, The Porcupines Quill published his first wordless graphic novel Let That Bad Air Out: Buddy Bolden’s Last Parade, shortlisted as Best Graphic Novel of the Year (2007), Forward Magazine. Berg received his BFA with distinction in 2008 from the Ontario College of Art and Design. He is currently working in Toronto on a second wordless novel.
