Monkey-Rope Press was founded in 2009 and is run by Marnie Galloway, a print maker and alternative comic artist working out of Chicago, Illinois. The first part of her 3-part graphic novel, “In the Sounds and Seas: Volume I,” was the recipient of a 2012 Xeric Award.
