Cory Silverberg

Raised by a children’s librarian and a sex therapist, Cory might well have been destined to write children’s books about sexuality. After years of ignoring his destiny, Cory finally got the hint when a dear friend’s son needed a book and found nothing that fit for his family.

Cory has been a sex educator for more than twenty years.  He received his Masters of Education from the University of Toronto, and was a founding member of the Come As You Are Co-operative. He is the Sexuality Guide for About.com and is hard at work on a series of three inclusive books about sexuality and gender that kids (and parents) will actually want to read. The first, What Makes a Baby, is being launched at TCAF and is published by Seven Stories Press.

Cory splits his time between Canada and the US.  He has eight nephews and nieces, all of whom know where babies come from.
