<p><strong>TORONTO: </strong>The Toronto Comic Arts Festival has always been about promoting the medium of comic books and graphic arts to readers of every age, and in a historic first TCAF has partnered with leading kids’ brand Owlkids for <strong>Owlkids Day @ TCAF: A Full Day Featuring Some of the Bestselling Kids Cartoonists in the world! </strong>Join us at our special off-site location, St. Paul’s, for a full day of programming by an amazing array of Kids and Young Adult artists and authors, including <strong>Jeff Smith, author of the 10-million-copy-selling <em>Bone </em>adventure series!</strong></p>

<p><strong>Owlkids Day</strong> is a special one-day event that offers a non-stop selection of presentations by TCAF’s biggest kids guests, and creates a special location for families just 5 minutes walk from main TCAF site Toronto Reference Library. Presenters include cartoonists from <strong>Owlkids, Andy Runton </strong>(<em>Owly</em>),<em> </em><strong>Jennifer Holm &amp; Matt Holm </strong><em>(Babymouse, SQUISH</em>), <strong>Jeff Smith </strong><em>(Bone)</em><strong>, Kazu Kibuishi </strong><em>(Amulet)</em>, and <strong>Dave Roman &amp; John Green </strong><em>(Teen Boat, Avatar: The Last Airbender</em>).</p>
<p>As with most TCAF events, admission to all of these presentations is free, no tickets will be offered or are required, admission and seating is limited to the first 200 people in line for each event. Event queues start 30 minutes before each presentation.</p>
<p>Owlkids Day is just one of many kids activities happening at TCAF 2012, including <strong>The Owlkids Area</strong> at The Appel Salon on the second floor of Toronto Reference Library, Free Comic Book Day Giveaways, and dozens more wonderful cartoonists and graphic novel creators in attendance.
