We're pleased to announce that TCAF 2007 will take place August 18th and 19th in downtown Toronto, at The University of Toronto's Old Victoria College building and quad. This location is more central, with easy access to the TTC and will accomodate the consistant increase in attendence and guests of the fest.

For those wishing to exhibit at TCAF, our policy is still that TCAF is a curated event. That said, we do want to hear from you if you have an interest in exhibiting. Please send an e-mail to 2007@torontocomics.com with full contact information, and if possible, links to examples of your work online. Please note that this is a festival in celebration of the comics medium, and as such comics creators are given preference over those artists who do not work in comics.

Thank you to all of the guests, publishers, volunteers, staff, and most importantly attendees who made the 2005 Toronto Comic Arts Festival a huge success! We couldn't have done it without a lot of help from a lot of people, and as big an undertaking as the show was, it left us energized and focussed on comics. The next TCAF will occur in summer of 2007, keep up to date by signing up for our mailing list (at the bottom of this page). We'll leave last year's site completely intact until the 2007 site is ready to go live. - The TCAF staff

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival returns! TCAF will be held May 27-29 2005 in Downtown Toronto's Historic Mirvish Village District, with a huge number of comics-related events including readings, presentations, publisher and artist sales-areas, gallery shows, academic paper presentation and more all under the auspices of The Festival! We are currently in the process of finalising our guest roster and sponsorships. If you have any questions regarding the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, please e-mail us at contact@torontocomics.com.

Please Note: With the number of invites that have gone out, it looks like our guestlist is full for this year. We're just waiting to hear back from a few invited guests. Information is forthcoming on our Sunday exhibition spaces which will be open to artists of all stripes. To be put on our waiting list, please contact us at contact@torontocomics.com.

Thank you very much,
The TCAF Organizers

UPDATE - May 27th: Information on the Sunday, May 29th's STREET FESTIVAL is now available! David Mirvish Books on Art (located on Markham Street) will be featuring a fantastic new art-exhibition launch with the artists in attendence Saturday and Sunday. Artist Fiona Smyth will be offering a free tour of her studio that weekend as well, also located on Markham Street. See the events page for more.
